    Theatre for Learning

    Objective

    The power of expressing yourself cannot be undermined in todays world as it helps one to express fearlessly and creatively its talents, feelings and individuality. Strong interpersonal skills and expressive abilities also help build healthy relationships, to appreciate, to value and to accept diversity.

    The objective of the program is encourage young children to speak their minds and express their emotions in the best way.

    Strategy

    At Theatre of Learning, we provide a lively environment through music, drama, stories and creative crafts. Our teachers encourage innovation and appreciation. Children get an opportunity to act out to interesting stories, perform to music and rhymes, and create exciting masterworks, which help enhance their coordination, communication and imaginative abilities. Use of props, costumes, musical instruments and puppets make the learning process fun and exciting, enabling learning for a lifetime.

    Each class is of 90 minutes and conducted once a week in the evening, on weekdays and Saturdays

    Outcome

  • Theatre for Learning II

    Objective

    Theatre for Learning II is an extension to our program, structured and designed for children of age 5-12 years. The foundation principle of our program is still to inspire and ignite the power of expression in children.

    Our lively classes allows for stimulated, expressive and confident communication.

    Strategy

    Drama is an excellent medium to enhance the confidence, expression and communication. Through pretend and play, children learn different concepts of the world around. Taking the program to the next level, making it exciting and challenging enough for the 5-12 years group, our curriculum allows enactment to musicals, creating drama and sharing new ideas and experiences.

    Music, drama, debates and movement is integral to the program, in an age appropriate format. The program runs in two batches, during weekdays and Saturdays with 90 minutes of learning each week.

  • Creative Spark

    Objective

    Our Creative Spark workshops encourage the love for art forms and inspire young minds to become promising artists. The program offers creative learning in a customized, interactive and stimulating environment. We understand the power of freedom, appreciation and recognition, to ignite the spark of our these little creative buds.

    Focusing on learning through different creative forms of arts, crafts, model making and games, children will learn academic concepts like body parts, mammals, space, etc., appropriate to their age group.

    Strategy

    The workshop will introduce the children to different forms of arts and help them create unique masterworks, stimulating their imagination and creativity.

    The learning will not be confined to the professional forms of art but also teach them to creatively use waste materials. The concept of each workshop will build their curiosity for a new subject and inspire them to paint their imaginations and thoughts, expressively and innovatively.

    Exciting games and contests will be a part of each module, enabling better grasps of the concepts and allowing teachers to monitor the learning in each child.

  • Young Explorers

    Objective

    This program is devised for the curious minds and to ignite the urge to question in children of age 4-7 years and 8-10 years. The objective is to develop interest and love for the science of world; children will enjoy discovering the mysteries of things around them and learn the science behind through interesting and practical hands-on activities; thus also helping develop their rational and analytical thinking.

    Strategy

    The program will allow the children perform group based activities and experiments using resources that are usually available at home. Our teachers will introduce each concept through fun facts, quizzes and audio-visual means and demonstrate the properties through fun based activities. Children are encouraged to perform the exploration tasks on their own and with peers, enabling healthy peer learning as well.

    Each workshop includes introduction of scientific concepts like Elements of Nature, Green Revolution, Understanding the world around, Science of Cooking, etc. through multiple hands-on activities. The workshop also provides opportunity to build a working model within the class, providing a practical and pragmatic approach to learning.

    The retention of the concept is also through fun contests and field trips, organized once every term. Each term includes about 20 hours of exciting learning and exploration for children.

  • Marvels for Life

    Objective

    Our program Marvels for Life is designed to inculcate life skills and impart value education to children, preparing them for lifelong learning. The objective behind the program is to build well-rounded individuals with positive character and values. Instilling these traits in the children's’ personality at a young age is essential and can be achieved through means of fun based interactions and stories.

    Strategy

    Each month will include a children's’ story book that emphasises some life skill – honesty, sharing, kindness, teamwork, etc. Our life skill trained counsellors will ensure the delivery of the concept is interesting and learning is optimum, making it appropriate to the need and style of each child. Children will learn through the characters of the story and also play to the characters, and discuss the emulation of these traits in ones life.

    Use of Audi-Visio means, drama and interactive discussions will make the sessions attractive, entertaining and meaningful to all and help them develop the true marvels (values) for life.
